Most of the missionary work in Romania consists of "BlockKnocking" which we found out is knocking on doors. However, their "blocks" are not like ours. They live in large cement apartment buildings, most of which were built during the communist era, which they call "blocks". The missionaries trek through the buildings, knocking on every door on every floor. They use the elevator at their own risk - Jeffrey was stuck in one - but usually use the stairs. So this movie is a humorous, and possibly close to real, view of their daily life as missionaries in Romania.
One more thing - if you double-click the Cluj-Napoca slide show (to the right) it will take you to Picasa where all of Jeffrey's mission pictures are posted!

Missionary Movie
One of the Elders in Jeffrey's District loves to make movies.
So Jeffrey sent us these 2 movies - they're fun to watch. We tried to email them to everyone, but the files were too big, so I'm posting them here.
Missionaries can be a bit crazy!

Update on Precious and her kittens
Yesterday we found out that Mom and kittens are very sick and on antibiotics. Can you imagine giving antiobiotics to six kittens every day? Jaimie goes over to her friend's and helps with that big project. They are not sure what is wrong with Precious (Mom) just that her white blood cell count was sky high - 55,000, when it is suppose to be about 8,000. We are hoping that all of them will be okay. We'll keep everyone posted.

Storm!
On a recent trip up to the city, Jeff and I had a perfect view of this storm. We stopped for awhile to watch a wall cloud. It never dropped a tornado, but it was fascinating to watch. That evening there were storms everywhere. The city was inundated with rain and lightning. These are just a few pictures that we took of our good old Kansas City storms.
