A new city!

subject: Easter?!

Was it Easter yesterday? I didn't know. I thought that easter was really big here in Romaniad, well, either it is on a different day, or I just plum missed it. Been so busy lately. I'm bummed now :(.

So anyways, my new area is amazing! I really love it! I'll send you pictures sometime of it. There was something else I wanted to mention here, but forgot...oh well. Guess I will tell you next email next week.

I do have a new companion. He is really young in the mission and doesn't speak the language very well yet, but he is working hard at it. We are going to get along really well in my new area. And, my district is really awesome as well. I have a Romanian in my district. Elder Banu, he's from Brasov, and also Sora Lovell whom I served with in Ploiesti. The juniors are Elder Thompson (with Banu), Sora Poulson (with Lovell), and mine is Elder Andesen. And we are all chilling in...sorry I got distracted there for a second. Forgot what I was going to say.
So you sent a package hey? I did too! I sent all my letters back that I got from the past year because I didn't have any room in my luggage anymore. Also sent a Romanian cd, and a t-shirt for dad. I sent it by train so I don't expect it to get there soon. It was cheaper that way.
I am still bummed that I might have missed easter! I heard so many stories from other missionaries about what happens on easter, and I think I missed it. I will ask a member tonight and see if I missed it or if it is on a different day here in Romania.

When I got in to my new area, I got a call from Sora Petrescu and she just asked if I got in alright. I LOVE THAT LADY!!! She is so awesome! Too bad she is the only one in her family interested so far. Her husband is doing well phisically, but still wants to remain orthodox. Oh well, that's how it goes!

Well, I got here in my new area and met these girls in the blocks that were from Timisoara (not my area), and since they lived so far away, I decided to give them a Book of Mormon right then and there. They were here for school. They seemed really cool. Usually, I hand out at least one Book of Mormon a week, but sometimes I had out a lot more, like 3-4. It just depends on who I meet and how open they are to the gospel.
I can't wait for the package you sent. It will be so cool. A perfect time in the perfect place. It is so cool here, but also hard. The work seems easy, but other challenges about the area and time of the year spring up and are real big problems! It sucks, but it is also very cool.
So anyways, I better close now...there was something else I needed to say, but I just forgot...oh well, probably wasn't importent. I will email you next week with poze! Love you all, and hope you all are living it up with all those easter eggs...still kinda mad about that! Okay, pa pa!

Family Security Matters is a National Security Resource for American Families offering Homeland Security info and much more. NEDCC, hosted by the Northeast Document Conservation Center lists 60 pamphlets you can print for free giving up-to-date info on preservation issues including digital photos, etc. Check it out when you get a chance.
