St. Louis Montage

Family Trip to Cape Girardeau & St. Louis

Down by the Flood wall at Cape Girardeau. 3 of the 4 flood doors are already closed, and the river will continue to rise for the next few weeks. Cape Girardeau has had a rough year, with a severe ice storm in January, the recent earthquake, and now the flooding. The people are very friendly, and we enjoyed being there. This was a business trip for us - Jeff and Kathy were presenters in a Disaster Plans/Business Continuity Conference. We made it a family vacation, and after our work was done, we went sightseeing. Southeast Missouri is so beautiful!

Kittens are 1 week old

Our neighbor's kittens are now a week old and getting cuter. It's fun to watch them as they grow. There are 5 boys and 1 girl. Their names are Crickett, Zoro, Charlie, Tigger, Boots, and the girl is Emma. Precious (Mom) is very protective and loving to her kittens. Some of them are starting to open their eyes. I love watching kittens grow, so I've decided to post pictures each week. I hope you enjoy them.
